New Game Blends Racing with Rogue-Lite Adventure
Players will embark on a thrilling journey to recover the Prime Relics stolen by Nemesis Prime. Featuring characters like Bumblebee, Megatron, Elita-1, and Optimus Prime, the game combines traditional arcade racing with dynamic combat. As players race across various circuits, they must also engage in bot-form battles to defeat opponents and collect relics.
Transformers: Galactic Trials offers a single-player mode where players progress through levels and unlock new characters and skins by collecting relics. Additionally, the two-player Arcade mode allows for local co-op racing, letting players customize their races with different tracks, characters, and weapons, or enter specialized tournaments based on locations.
Release and Anniversary
The game will be available on October 11, 2024, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. The release coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Transformers franchise, which also includes the upcoming CG-animated film Transformers One in September and a live-action Transformers/G.I.
