PlayStation has officially unveiled the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima, a highly acclaimed title developed by Nixxes Studio in collaboration with Sucker Punch Productions. This port brings all the beloved content of the game to PC gamers, marking its release on April 16, 2024.
The PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut includes the base game along with the Iki Island expansion pack. Its multiplayer mode, Legends, will also be available, allowing PC gamers to showcase their skills in this mode. Nixxes Studio has been diligently working on porting the game for about a year, optimizing the graphics engine for PC and ultimately adding special features such as uncapped frame rates, graphics settings, and mouse and keyboard support.

One notable feature of the PC version is its support for ultra-wide monitors. Monitors with aspect ratios of 21:9 and 32:9 are supported, and if you’re using three monitors with a 48:9 aspect ratio, you’ll still be able to run the game. The title also supports graphics technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3 and FSR 3. Additionally, Intel XeSS technology will be supported to enhance image quality when playing the game with Intel gaming graphics cards.

Another highlight of the game is its official support for various types of controllers. You can remap buttons or use a mouse and keyboard for gameplay. DualSense or PS5 controllers are fully supported, offering a realistic feel when wielding a bow or wielding a sword. Pre-ordering the game will also grant you several special items. The introduction of this game was met with enthusiasm from gamers, confirming the previous rumor about the Ghost of Tsushima PC version.
Sucker Punch Studio’s manager announced that this is their first game to be released on PC, and they are very excited about it. Meanwhile, Nixxes Studio has greatly assisted PlayStation in providing high-quality PC ports, as demonstrated by their work on the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Therefore, one can expect a high-quality PC port.
All the original game content, such as the Kurosawa cinematic mode, is active in the PC version. The online component allows for two-player story missions and four-player missions or engaging in intense duels with online opponents.
