Cockle stated, “I will continue voicing Geralt as long as I have a voice. This role has become a part of my existence, and each time CD Projekt reaches out to me for a project, I get extremely excited. I usually accept most requests from the company because I have a great deal of interest in collaborating with this studio. I am thrilled about the remake of the first Witcher game, a project I am passionate about. I vividly remember recording Geralt’s voice for the game back in 2005. I believe the game was developed in 2007, and we are approaching its almost twenty-year anniversary.”

Regarding the remake, Cockle expressed excitement about the technological advancements since the original game’s release. He mentioned the prospect of CD Projekt using Unreal Engine 5 for the remake, highlighting the unparalleled possibilities this engine offers for enhancing the gaming experience.
