Insider Gaming claims that a game adaptation of the TV series Game of Thrones is currently in development by studios under Nexon’s umbrella. This game will be an MMORPG genre and will only cover the northern part of the vast world of the Iron Throne. In other words, the game’s events will take place in Winterfell and “The Wall,” and important characters from the books and the series will be present. However, famous Game of Thrones actors like Kit Harington will not have roles in this game.
The new rumor was brought up by the website Redanian Intelligence, which operates in the realm of The Witcher and fantasy titles. They allege that the development of the Game of Thrones game has begun and will follow the events of the fourth and fifth seasons of the series. The Boltons have risen to power in the North, and Jon Snow and Sam Tarly are also present at “The Wall.” Expansion packs are planned for the game, with new locations added each time, but the primary goal is to cover the events of Winterfell and The Wall after the Stark’s downfall.

Nexon has not succeeded in recruiting the main actors from the Game of Thrones series for voice acting in this game. Instead, they have assembled a new team, which also aims to match the personalities of the HBO series characters in their speech.
